Lindsay's Auto & Essentials are an independently owned service station in the town of Broken Hill, Far West New South Wales.
The business wanted a simple website to give them an online presence, particularly to advertise the car wash and to encourage visiting tourists to the business.
This website was originally created using WordPress (which is currently the live site).
It has recently been rewritten using Gatsby with AgilityCMS for content management as this allowed more custom functionality to be incorporated into the site and simpler content management overall - particularly around the promos. With the WordPress site, changing promos can only be done in real time and the process is rather clunky. With the Gatsby site, start and end dates can be set for the promo images and once they expire, a set of default promo images are displayed.
